Betfair Downtime & API Problems…

I hope Sam won’t mind me putting this up but for anyone trading or betting of late using betfair or related software will no doubt have encountered problems mainly with the API which if using a 3rd party software can cause freezing up of the interface and problems closing trades etc. It has to be said that after a few weeks these constant maintainance problems are becoming a damn nuisance. Betfair was down this morning and at the time of writing 12:42 seems to be having further downtime right in the middle of my tennis trading so probably no profit for that one! Occasionally although 3rd party software does not respond the Betfair site seems okay so always worth popping over or at the very least have their number handy if you are worried about closing out any trades..
