Weekly Update

Hello everyone and welcome to the weekly roundup of all our system/service reviews currently in progress here at OnlineRacingReview.com.

I mentioned last week that we were in transition, after the end of several reviews and the start of some fresh trials. Well, a couple of those “newbies” were very quick off the mark and have made a bit of a flying start!

One service approaching the end of its review here on ORR is Killer Instinct Lays and they turned in a creditable performance this week with a gain of 3.2pts which leaves them with an outside chance of ending their trial in profit, we’ll know more about that next week! But our two best results this week came from two of our new recruits: All Weather Insider shot out of the stalls to register 13.8pts, but they were overshadowed by a stunning start from the Horse Betting Analyst who already finds itself 41.5pts in profit: stirring stuff!

Unfortunately, for the third week in a row now, our poorest result came from Partners in Profit, who lost another 19.1pts on the week and now need something approaching a minor miracle to turn things around. It wasn’t a good week either for the Magic Backing Bot with a 9.7pt loss and Betting Bubbles‘ winning run came to an end, losing 8pts on the week, but their trial has finished handsomely (+76.5pts) in profit.

So, how does all this affect our ORR league table?

As you can see, the trial of Betting Bubbles has been a major success, as they bow out on top with an impressive 76.5pts profit. The Horse Betting Analyst‘s excellent start has catapulted them into second position ahead of the 5 Star Flutters: a potentially very good service if it wasn’t let down by their currently poor admin. Our top three are currently almost 143pts in profit between them!

At the bottom, Killer Instinct Lays‘ profit this week has seen them swap places with the GHRRS Green System, who have made a spluttering start to their trial. Our bottom two remain unaltered with Magic Backing Bot showing losses of 21.4pts, some considerable way clear of Partners in Profit who are now 47.8pts in the red. They’ve just 4 days left to turn it around: it looks highly improbable, I’m afraid.

I recommended Betting Bubbles to you last week and I see no reason not to this week either! I certainly think that it’s one to seriously consider adding to your portfolio. Its record over a 9 week trial has been excellent. Profitable Lays also ended their trial in profit and despite a couple of indifferent weeks, I still believe that this low-risk system is worth taking on board: indeed I have!

Welcome to our review of the Horse Betting Analyst

The Horse Betting Analyst is a tipping service which commenced operations in March 2009.
On the website the operator states that he has extensive experience in tipping horses, having previously been employed by two other online sites, but it was his desire for full control that led him to set up Horse Betting Analyst.
Since the start of operations he states that a profit of 728 points has been achieved, which is fantastic if true.

The service costs £120 for a month rising in graduations to £950 for 12 months (or you can have just the maximum bets for £600 per year).
The service operates Monday to Saturday via e-mails which are sent out at around 11.30am. These contain the name(s) of the selection(s), the stake (on a scale of 0.5pts to 10pts) and the advised price to take (usually with a “Best Odds Guaranteed” proviso).

For the purpose of the review 1pt will equate to £10 and results will be calculated to advised prices or SP (when B O G applies).

Weekly Update

Betting System Reviews Update: 26/01/12

Hello everyone and welcome to the weekly roundup of all our system/service reviews currently in progress here at OnlineRacingReview.com.

We’re entering a transitional phase on the review front, where many of our reviews have either recently ended or are rapidly approaching their final days on trial. This is always the case at this time of year. Yet there’s no need to panic, as we’ll be introducing at least 5 new reviews to the site over the coming days, and there’s some interesting stuff amongst them!

But what of the current crop: how did they fare this week? Well, very much like the weather: a real mixed bag! Decent profit was hard to come by: 5 Star Flutters managed to make 1.6pts and Killer Instinct Lays resouped almost half of their prior losses with a gain of 5.95pts, but last week’s headliners the Betting Bubbles stole the show once again with another great week amassing almost 19pts: that’s now over 115pts in the last 6 weeks after a poor start. Their trial is due to end on Sunday, so I’ll have the final verdict on that one for you next week.

It wasn’t very good again for last week’s poorest performers: Partners in Profit and Profitable Lays: their respective losses of 12.7pts and 14.8pts were our worst results of the week yet again. They certainly need a change in fortunes of Betting Bubbles proportions.

So, how does all this affect our ORR league table?

As you can see, the recent poor show by Profitable Lays has severely dented their profits , but they remain 12.5pts to the good: testimony to their previous performances, whilst this week’s small 1.6pt gain has helped consolidate 5 Star Flutters place in our top two. However, Betting Bubbles currently look unstoppable with a fantastic 84.5pt profit in a shade over eight weeks.

At the bottom, it seems to be  case of déja vue, Killer Instinct Lays decent week has seen them merely swap positions in the bottom three with the Magic Backing Bot, while Partners in Profit‘s continued slump sees them rooted at the foot of the table and it looks a long way back for this one now.

I recommended Betting Bubbles to you last week and if you’d taken my gentle nudge, you’d have already covered your subscriptions and made profit on top. I certainly think that it’s one to seriously consider adding to your portfolio. It offers good value advice across a range of sports, keeping some interest going even when there’s no racing! Welcome to our review of Winning Trainers

The Winning Trainers System originally comes in the form of a downloadable 33page eBook / PDF and seeks to find horses to win selected races in the UK at odds within a specified odds range.
The rules of the system are to follow certain combinations of trainers, jockeys, racecourses, classes/types of races which appear historically to be far more profitable than other combinations. These observations have been backed up by the provision of 32 months worth of results in the manual.

Winning Trainers claim the following easily checkable results over those 32 months:
406 winners from 3074 bets at a strike rate of 13.21%
A level stakes profit of some £10,965 at Bookmakers SP to a £10 stake: these returns would be expected to be around 30-40% higher on the exchanges.
This strike rate of a little under 1 in 7 can obviously result in some long losing runs.

The author claims that staking each way when allowed, provides a much higher strike rate of 32.15%.
This provided a slightly higher return for a £10 each way stake of £12,497.50.

The cost of the Winning Trainers system document is currently £19.99 which includes access for one month to a members’ website which provides the selections.
Access to this members’ site in subsequent months would be an additional £19.99 per month or £39.99 for 3 months.
On the site you’ll receive the daily selections and the odds range for those selections.

This is a backing system/service with no fancy staking plan and I shall be running this review for a period of 60 days and declaring the Winning Trainers results based on a level £5 each way when the number of runners allows it and £10 to win when there are less than 5 runners.
I will be declaring the rolling profit/loss at Industry SP, since the author’s claims of profit use the same yardstick, then commenting on the profitability, or not, at  the end of the trial.

Welcome to our Review of the GHRRS Green System

The service is a simple tipping system, based on “ratings” produced by the company.
The company has been involved in Horse Racing since around the year 2000, and a few years ago
came across a couple of systems that regularly made profits.

The GHRRS Green System  costs £35 a month, and they send bets to be placed purely in the win market

The selections are emailed out each day, 7 days a week and are sent either the night before or first thing in the morning.
They recommend staking no more than 1% of your bank on any one bet.

2011 recorded results state that the GHRRS Green System made 293pts profit, this included 272 winning bets from 961,
with a strike rate of 28% and rate of return of 30%.

They also offer a Platinum Service allows you to receive horse racing tips from BOTH this GHRRS Green System and also the GHRRS Gold System (see other review)  for a reduced combined fee of just £45 per month.

Welcome to our review of All Weather Insider.

The All Weather Insider System is primarily a tipping service, although when you join you will also receive a welcome pack which includes details of the betting techniques used to provide the tips.

The All Weather Insider website says that they cant identify the person behind the service as this would jeopardise the information they are receiving, but they do say he is a man who has amassed “great personal wealth by specialising in All Weather Racing Betting”. This mystery man behind the All Weather Insider service is supported “by a strong backroom team who themselves are seasoned betting professionals”.

The service costs €49 a month and for that you will receive a welcome pack and daily emails containing the selections and their service comes with a money back guarantee – if you dont make a profit after 30 days betting to their advised stakes then they will refund your membership. So, it does seem lke a win-win situation!

The system uses a staking plan varying from one to five points and claims to have made almost 100 points since the start of the year.

We will be trialling the All Weather Insider tipping service for a period of 60 days and will be declaring our results based on £10 per point stakes, with the All Weather Insider service advising the number of points per bet.
All bets will be settled at Betfair SP with an assumed 5% commission deducted and the service provider suggests a starting betting bank of 50 points.

All Weather Insider System, Day 5, 04/02/2012

Welcome to our review of the Golf Investor Club Service

This is a new service from the Betfan stable, and as the title suggests it is a golf service but with a difference.It has been trialling for 3 months now and has claimed a profit of 407 pts.
The service costs £60 for 12 weeks or £90 for 24 weeks.

The difference with this service is that it is a spread betting srvice and each Wednesday you will be given 5 golfers to buy on the spread. This means that you are betting each golfer to finnish in a worse position that the higher position of the spreads.

As the Golf Investor Club points out, this is a very volatile form of betting & you should be aware that your potential exposure could be as high as 135 pts on a worse case scenario or maybe even higher.

The bets will be given using Sporting Index or Spreadex spreads & with a minimum bet that was £3 a point you will need a good betting bank.
The provider recommends £1000 if betting to £5 a point, but we shall be declaring our results to a £10/point stake.

There is a web site where the bets can be accessed & you will also receive an E-Mail each week setting out the bets.
The Golf Investor Club Results will then be posted on a weekly basis each Monday after each round of tournaments ends.

Betting System Reviews Update: 19/01/12

Hello everyone and welcome to the weekly roundup of all our system/service reviews currently in progress here at OnlineRacingReview.com.

I’ll cut straight back to my headline, because the Betting Bubbles are fizzing at the top for us this week, they’ve had a brilliant week this time around. I told you last week about them making 40pts in just 4 weeks after a poor start: well, they made another 57.4pts this week from a wide selection of bets from several different sports: it’s a very interesting service. It was also a good week for another service who had been a little hit and miss at times: the Horse Betting Analyst came good at just the right time, recording 21.4pts this week to end their trial on both a high note and in profit!

However, it wasn’t so good for 2 of our previously successful services: Profitable Lays lost 10.3 points, whilst Partners in Profit plunged 19.7pts into the red this week.

So, how does all this affect our ORR league table?

Despite that 10pt loss, Profitable Lays remain firmly in profit and also in the top 2, but those sparkling Betting Bubbles have risen to the top now, sitting pretty on a profit of over 65pts with just over a week to go.

At the other end of the table, Killer Instinct Lays had a poor week, slipping into our bottom 2 after a weekly loss of 7.5pts, but our current wooden spoonist is this week’s poorest performer: Partners in Profit. They currently stand on a deficit of 16pts, but I believe that the methodology of this one is basically sound and that 16pts could actually be wiped out by just one winning bet, such is the nature of their service.

I have been recommending Profitable Lays to you for a while now and despite a poor week I think that it’s still one to consider adding to your portfolio.
