Rate The Races is, as expected, a piece of ratings software.

RTR rates all UK, Irish, USA and South African races each day and gives you a rating for each horse in every race, so if form reading is too laborious for you this piece of software will save you hours of slog.

The Deluxe version of Rate The Races costs £69.97 and comes as an exe file with a licence which can be downloaded to run on 1 pc only(will not work on Macs) and is very simple to install and operate. Once installed the software can be opened each day and put on auto pilot which will take about 5 minutes to rate every race for that day depending on how many meetings there are, when finished you can save the notepad file or print it off.

There are a two suggested staking methods of how the software can be used on the Rate The Races website using a stop at a profit system, which they say made decent profits for 6 months in 2011 but I am going to use a different method for this trial from one of the many testimonials on their site which caught my eye.

This method was suggested by a guy called Mike who is from the good old U.S of A who had been using Rate The Races for a couple of months and had noticed that top 3 rated horses that fell within a certain ratings range and at specified odds had made over 280 points profit in just under a month.

Now he doesn’t say what settings he used for these results, but he did mention one horse which was a UK horse so for this trial I will be only using UK and Irish meetings and betting each selection to a £10 level stake and recording my results to Betfair Starting Price (BSP) minus 5% commission. This approach will probably give us some long losing runs but hopefully will provide some big priced winners and a decent profit.

It has been a relatively quiet week as we’ve gone through a transition of old reviews ending and new ones starting up. There are currently six active reviews with three more due to declare their first results in the next couple of days, plus I’ve a few more in the pipeline for you!

Of the active ones, two made a profit: Dreamlays made £63.30 to more than recoup last week’s losses, whilst Match Day Profits are really kicking off in style, they scored £56 in just 3 trading days to put their profit at over £474 in 8 days!

On the other hand, small losses were incurred by Pro Expert Betting (-£23.40) and Partners in Profit (-£30), but there’s nothing to worry about there, just yet. More disconcerting, however, were the losses of £108.87 made by Each Way Profits and worst of all: Sports Bet View whose loss of over £370 has already plunged them into deep trouble.

So, here’s the latest ORR league table:

As I mentioned earlier, Match Day Profits are away to a flyer with profits fast approaching £500 in a little over 1 week, while decent profits have also been made by Dreamlays (+£63) and Pro Expert Betting (+£59). At the bottom, Partners in Profit‘s loss of £30 shouldn’t be too difficult to overcome, nor should the current deficit of £80 held by Each Way Profits. However, Sports Bet View might now find things difficult, having already lost almost £405 in less than a quarter of the review period.

It’s far too early to truly judge whether any of these will pass or fail the ORR test, so I suggest you keep your powder dry for now and maintain a watching brief on out trial services. One (or more!) of them might just shock you!

Welcome to our review of 3 Minute Bets

This seems to be a straightforward tipping service for backing horses. It doesn’t appear to have any specialist area or any particular special claim to fame other than it is quick and easy ie less than 3 minutes per day is needed to operate this one!

On the 3 Minute Bets website there is a fairly lengthy sales video (12 mins or so!) which tries to persuade potential subscibers that this is better than everything else and really will make a lot of money.

It claims a weekly average ROI of 57%.

The guy behind this says he looks at all variables relating to horses, tracks, trainers and so on, in the same way bookies would.
He then goes on to say that the reason his method works is that it takes advantage of how bookies skew the odds to give them a profit regardless of race outcome. To my mind this is nothing new, but time will tell.

The subscription costs for 3 Minute Bets is an initial payment of £18.95 and then £15.95 per month.
This actually seems very reasonable if the bets are as good as we are led to believe.
The bets will be emailed the night before the racing, which I think is a good thing. Not all services do this.

A sixty day money back guarantee is offered via Clickbank. Again, this has to be a plus and not that common with betting products.

We will try this for sixty days with level stakes of £10 and using Betfair SPs and 5% commission.

The Soccer Master football betting strategy claims to be able to tell you the secrets to making a full time income that the bookmakers don’t want you to know by following “the signal“ that will determine the outcome of each game.

From the Soccer Master website It is not totally clear what is on offer as the author Simon Bolivar (obviously named after the Venezuelan airport) says that the secrets are contained in the guide he is selling but then asks for a monthly investment of £35, which I presume is for the daily selections if you are unable to find them yourself.

The website is full of the usual claims like “With all the money that are constantly coming in from my personal ATM machine, I am able to fully pay for my house and a car and my wife doesn’t need to work” which would usually make me click off the page after reading the first paragraph but as this is a review I will be going into this with an open mind. The author also claims “You will make back the cost of this system from the next bet that you place – Guaranteed!” so I am hopeful of a profitable review and a successful strategy that can be used for the foreseeable future.

I will review The Soccer Master with advised stakes to the live prices obtained for the next 60 days less any commission.

Overall, it was a reasonable week for the services currently on trial.
If you’d backed every selection we received with a £10 level stake,
you’d now be £412 better off. However, this doesn’t tell the whole
story, as firstly your total stakes would have been huge for a small
percentage return and secondly, one service actually made more
than that figure all on its own!

Let’s take a closer look at this week’s individual results: losses of £45.80 were suffered at Dreamlays, whilst the Each Way Profits service lost £96.88, but the worst performance came from the struggling Punter Perfect, who slipped a further £127.55 into the red and have now ended their 60-day review period with final losses of £1284.22! If you add the subscription fees, it’s a total expenditure of over £1400 in two months, now here’s one to avoid!

Better news elsewhere though, as some of our new reviews are seeing some decent profits being made. The Pro Expert Betting team made £78.11 this week, whilst the Sports Bet View service clocked up an impressive £196 this week, almost wiping out the terrible start they had made. Our Star of the Week however, is Match Day Profits, who kicked off with a staggering £418.50 (to £10 stakes) in just five days!

So, here’s the latest ORR league table:

The Ex Bookie‘s trial ended this week and they have passed the test with flying colours, ending on +£738 in 2 months, whilst the excellent start from Match Day Profits sees them catapulted into the top three, with Pro Expert Betting making up that trio.

At the bottom, it’s too early for either Dreamlays (-£0.20!) or Sports Bet View (-£34.00) to start worrying, but we can safely say that Punter Perfect was far from perfect with final overall losses fast approaching £1300!

Last week I preempted the final review with a recommendation for the Ex Bookie Service, I stand by that recommendation this, but I strongly advise you to avoid Punter Perfect at all costs (which  might be considerable!). For more details on any services featured here, simply click their name!

This week saw the end of three more trials and 2 others are in their final throes, so as promised, we’ve introduced five more services to the review scene, it’s definitely out with old and in with the new!

This is probably a good thing, as all the old services had a poor week: losing a grand total of £860 between them! The worst culprits of the five were Daily Tipping Point who lost an average of £216 between their two staking plans and Punter Perfect, who fared slightly worse racking up losses of £252!

Fortunately, some of our new recruits got off to a flying start: Each Way Profits and Dreamlays made £125.47 and £45.60 respectively in their first two days with us.

So, here’s the latest ORR league table:

As you can see, the Ex Bookie is well set for a positive review, being £748 up with just 2 trial days remaining: other than that it’s a tale of woe for the old guard, particularly for the likes of ASAP Lays and Punter Perfect.

I’m going to pre-empt my reviewer this week and get in first with a recommendation for the

Welcome to our review of the Pro eXpert Betting Service

Pro eXpert Betting is a backing system or tipping service that concentrates on ‘the middle ground’ of betting in that there will be no large priced outsiders, they should mostly be in the 5/1 to 16/1 range.
There is very little information about how they arrive at their selections and about who exactly they are and how they came to be in this area of expertise.

There is no staking or recovery plan, all bets are advised to level stakes.
There is a results page showing the last 41 tips (6 non-runners) that showed 14 winners (40% strike rate) and 7 placed, although the Pro eXpert Betting advice was to bet to win.
The overall points profit for this period was 34.76 points although only 4 of the 14 winners were in the middle ground.
However I have no idea what the price was when the advice was sent out and it does state that prices will fall the nearer it gets to the race.

The cost of the Pro eXpert Betting service is £25 per month and I shall be reviewing it for 60 days and be using a level stake of £10 at Betfair SP, unless otherwise indicated, all winning bets will be shown in bold italics.
