Race Specialist Review
Not being a keen reader,I was faced with a daunting task,181 pages. Started reading and couldn’t put it down. Concise, logical, sensible, informative and I think profitable.
Race Specialist is brought to you by Jon Burgess an accredited trainer with Betfair & previous author of the best selling horse racing laying system & education False Favourites.
The author treats you as a punter with a certain amount of experience,no BS,no stating the obvious as though you’ve never put a bet on before. The Race Specialist Manual is well laid out and gives the impression that the author is well read and confident in his ability to make money.
Race Specialist is a guide, not a system,to “laying” horses, something that has frightened me in the past.Your losses are limited, you can set your profit and liabilities. You are looking at 2/3 races per day,and it’s easy to select the races that qualify for further investigation. This is what Race Specialist teaches you to do,”investigate”.There is no Holy Grail as we all know, and one cannot expect to make a profit with little or no effort. You will need access to the Racing Post and can plan your bets the night before as you will need an hour or so to study 2/3 races, possibly less with practice. There are templates within the manual to help you and i think, quite importantly, you are not forced to place a bet,no lost selections,no history to trawl over,no strike rates to brag about.Every bet you place is based on your own judgement,no kicking yourself,or running over to the Racing Post pages,as plenty do after a race,as to why a horse lost or won.You are confident in you selection, win or loose.I,like many, have bought many”systems”over 30 years of betting,i’m confident this will be my last.
In conclusion,at £39.99,this is money well spent.I can recommend the Race Specialist to anyone that has had his or her’s fingers burnt and wants a well thought out alternative to a quick fix system based on past results and/or dubious rules.
