I have been playing around with this piece of kit for a few weeks now, and as Ken the author has stated it should really be used by the purchaser to apply his or her ideas into the pointing levels within the software to try and acheive accurate forecasts for each race.
The default settings in the software do not acheive profits as far as I can see, and this is a little disappointing as I would have hoped that the settings in the software would have been tested before sale of the software to have been able to acheive some profits, or at least more guidance as to which races you should concentrate on.
The software is very easy to use and has performed very well in producing its forecasts for each race.
The software is really for someone who wants to run his or her ideas through a program that will very quickly come up with a forecast, rather than have to spend a lot of time wading through the info in the Racing Post which the software is linked to, and this is does very well indeed.
You have the option of a library were you can store your previous settings, and so you are able to compare as many different settings as you want.
The usual criteria is there, ground, jockeys , trainers , class, position, fitness, ratings, and all of these can be given different levels of importance by yourself within the software in order to acheive your final forecast, in total there are 14 different areas that you can give a level of importance to.
To be honest it does exactly what it says it does, and that is it produces forecasts with you having the option to play around with the settings to acheive hopefully better and more accurate forecasts.
The cost for the software is £95, and I personally think thats a bit expensive, but if you really enjoy sifting through different peices of info to arrive at your selection, or want to run some system ideas, then this software will not only help but will cut down greatly on the time involved.
As I have said its not a system but a useful tool that will help some people.
If the price was lower I would be happier, but at £95 I think its a bit high, but if this sort of thing is what you enjoy then I wouldnt put you off.
